milkb4meat.org
A quiet place to breathe — and to be seen.
An app that meets you exactly where you are, tells you a story worth hearing, and gently points you toward the goodness of Jesus Christ. No noise. No pressure. Nothing sold.
The story library
Short films of the stories of Jesus — narrated over painted, realistic scenes, with His words straight from the King James Bible. The same stories that live inside the app, open to anyone.
44 of 200 stories finished — more added every week.
Why this is good for the world
Most of what reaches people online is built to take — their attention, their hours, their peace. Milk Before Meat was built on the opposite idea: to meet a person the way Jesus met people, and to give something back. The hard parts have been thought through carefully, so it can be trusted with the tender moment of someone first wondering about God.
Met where you are
No form asking your religion before you're welcome. It opens with a story and one honest question, and listens to your answer before anything else.
Never pushed
It never argues, never makes you feel you haven't measured up, and never rushes you. Like the Savior, it lets a person come — and lets them walk away.
Always honest
It says plainly that it is not God and not the Church — only a helper that points toward Christ. It admits what it doesn't know, and never pretends to be more.
A real human, always
From any screen, you can reach a real human being instead of the app. It's never buried and never gated behind a wall of questions.
Yours to keep
You can use almost all of it without an account, with your words never leaving your phone. What it learns about you, you can see — and erase — any time.
For everyone
Whether you're searching, hurting, skeptical, or already walking with Christ, there is a place for you here, and no wrong way to begin.
A short look
What it really is
The very first thing the app does is say it plainly: it is not the Church, and it is not God. It is a helper — a porch, not the house; a lantern, not the Light. It can't answer a prayer or know you the way Jesus does, only point you toward Him.
From there it does what the Savior did: it tells a short, beautiful story from His life, asks how it left you feeling, and listens. A gentle feed of scripture meets you where you are. A journal keeps whatever touches you. And a real person is always one tap away.
It's for everyone — whether you're searching, hurting, curious, or already walking with Christ and want a quieter place than the endless scroll.
A glimpse inside
Real moments from the app — gentle, honest, and always pointing onward.
For everyone — and a little more for some
Everyone is welcomed the same way, with the same first gift: the goodness of Jesus, told gently. That's the milk — and it's enough, all on its own.
And for those who are part of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints — or simply drawn toward it — saying so opens a deeper path: discipleship that keeps pace with living prophets, the scriptures, and going further in. Not a reward for passing a test. Just more for those who are ready for more.
You'll never be quizzed, sorted, or made to feel you haven't qualified. Say a word about where you stand, and the app simply meets you there — exactly what Jesus taught: there is milk, and there is meat, and each person is given what they can receive.
